Sta. Rosa, Laguna 2015 - Enchaned Kingdom

Image
Throwback post 😊 December 2015, the most wonderful month of the year! Since my uncle will be able to purchase discounted ride all you can tickets, he treated the whole family for an Enhanted Kingdom getaway. Time to feel young as a kid again! The last time I've been here was when I was still in college with my friends. Now it's Anjela and Jennela's first time to go to the place. We arrived early and it was very hot as we waited for the gates to open. So when we entered the premises the first thing I bought were caps for the kids. We weren't able to experience all rides, either we played in the game booths or we tried the kiddie rides, the grand carousel is a must! It was really hot during that day and so many people were there so for the most popular rides or activities expect a long queue and be patient enough to wait for an hour or so. Since most of us got tired of walking wr just spent some time near food booths for some snack. We were told that it will ...

Tanay, Rizal 2016 - Momarco Resort

Image
Throwback post 😊 May 2016, we went to Momarco Resort in Tanay, Rizal for a weekend getaway with my husband's friends. It was a short notice trip and since it's just near our area, we decided to go. The place is full of trees, the road going to the resort is a bit rough but they have a parking area and the place is big. They have huge swimming pools that are surrounded by plants and trees plus there's also a man made waterfalls (the water on the falls flows on a specific time and not continuous). It's nice to take some pictures in the place because of the scenery. When you look around you'll see a lot of trees which is very calming (for me it is!). Aside from swimming, they also have a mini zoo with birds, snakes and koi fishes. This is another place to go to that is just near the metro 😊

Iba, Zambales 2016 - Bakasyunan Beach Resort

Image
Throwback post 😊 February 2016, one of my uncle's out of town treat. We went to Bakasyunan Beach Resort in Iba, Zambales. Rooms were reserved for our overnight stay. There are so many activities in the resort itself and they also have a big swimming pool with huge inflatables. On our first day, we went swimming on the beach until afternoon. Then we went for a midnight dip in the pool. On our second day, we went snorkeling in the morning then swimming again in the pool. Picture taking with the family. It was a long trip to Zambales but it was fun since we're with the whole family. 😊

Calatagan, Batangas 2015 - Aquaria Beach Resort

Image
Throwback post 😊 May 2015, our family's summer outing. This was actually one of my uncle's treat. Just what we were looking for, a beach resort with swimming pool. We traveled early and brought our own food. There were only a few cottages in the beach area, so we were given long tables and chairs under the tree. Proper swimming attire is required in the pool area and they strictly implement it. They have a giant slide and multiple swimming pools including a kiddie pool. It was a fun outing, got a major sunburn that my back hurt so bad lol

Subic, Zambales 2013 - Kamana Sanctuary

Image
Throwback post 😊 August 2013, I was fortunate enough to be included in our company's quarterly recognition. That year, the treat was an overnight stay in Kamana Sanctuary in Subic, Zambales. The place was super peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are very nice. It has an infinity pool and they offer different beach activities too. Good thing I was able to experience their out of town trips. It'll be more fun if was with my girls and spent the weekend with them.

Pansol, Laguna 2017 - Southwinds Resort

Image
May 2017, we celebrated Mother's day here in Southwinds Resort in Pansol, Laguna. It was my sister's treat and this is my mother's favorite resort for so many reasons. Oh let me count the ways... 1. The resort is clean. 2. The water is warm. 3. The place is just near, just a few hours away from home. 4. It's on a first come first served basis. So no need to worry about not getting a cabana if you go there early. 5. Sufficient water supply on shower rooms. 6. Cabanas are spacious with your own sink and grilling station, there's also an electrical outlet that you can use for a minimal fee. 7. Huge parking space. 8. Huge swimming pools and kiddie pools are really suitable for kids 9. You can bring your own food with no corkage fee except for liquors. 10. The price is really affordable, less than 100 pesos for the entrance fee and around 900 for the cabana. (check out their FB page for their rates just search for their name). We went there just for a day tour, stay is ...

Nagcarlan, Laguna 2017 - Casa de Tobias Mountain Resort

Image
Every year, my uncle treats the whole family either food or with an out of town trip. This year, the plan was to go to Nagcarlan falls in Laguna, however, challenge was they weren't able to make a reservation so we need to travel early. And so we did and it took more or less 4 hours of travel to reach the resort. Unfortunately, they no longer allow guests to enter as they already reached maximum capacity. Since my uncle and his family were the last one to arrive in Nagcarlan, they were able to find an available resort. So we headed to Casa de Tobias Mountain Resort. My uncle booked 4 airconditioned rooms. There were 2 pools in the resort, a kiddie pool and an adult pool. If you go down the mountain, there is a river where you can also swim. Just a note, it was a struggle to go up and down the river especially if you have kids as the steps are too high and steep, but the experience was worth it. The day tour trip turned into an overnight trip. Even with airconditioners we still a...

Pulilan, Bulacan 2017 - Farm Breeze Resort

Image
April 2017, our family friend invited us for a swimming party to celebrate the birthday of their 2 children. One of them is my God Daughter and the other one is my husband's God Son. Farm breeze is a private resort with a huge adult pool and kiddie pool. To go to the place, you need to enter a private like compound where you will see another gate, you can just coordinate with the residents to enter. Their shower room is small with just 3 cubicles but clean and with sufficient water. They also have several long tables and benches in the dining area. (They have a Facebook page for more information) It was a simple but fun celebration, my daughters enjoyed it a lot. 😊

Nasugbu, Batangas 2017 - Bernabeach Resort

Image
April 2017, it was during holy week when my Nanay and I were thingking of going out of town for Easter Sunday. We were looking for a beach resort with swimming pool for the kids. Most of the resorts that I can think of were already fully booked. Until I saw a post from my former Manager who went to Bernabeach Resort and also remembered that some of my friends already went there several times. So why not give it a try? I was able to reserve a cottage for our daytour trip (it costs around 1000 pesos). We brought our own food (with minimal corkage fee). We started our trip early and also arrived to the place early. Parking space was limited we parked just outside the resort and we needed to wait for the other guests to check out. As expected just like what I was informed, the sand is black and the tide was actually strong that time. Our cottage was a bit small for us but we settled for it since not all of us will be there all at the same time. A bit disappointed at the beach area since...

Boracay 2017

Image
This trip all started mid last year (2016) when my cousin was tagging us on facebook for promo fares and thought of going on a trip to Boracay. I initially thought it will not push through but after talking about it, I just slept and when I woke up we were already booked for a January flight and we were not able to get a promo fare lol. My cousins were also able to book but on a different flight schedule and a different hotel. Months passed then came January. This is actually Jennela's first plane ride while for her Ate Anjela, it's her 3rd time to go to Boracay. The airplane pictures! This is a must especially for a first timer like Jennela 😊 January 2017, this trip was actually special since it was during my birthday (and our church wedding anniversary), plus of course we were with the whole family. I think we will never get tired to go to this place, it was a relaxing trip, our itinerary is just about eating, sleeping, shopping, swimming and of course taking a lot of pi...
