Manaoag, Pangasinan 2018

Image
Holy Week 2018, we've been planning for this trip for months. We decided to spend Holy Week in Pangasinan, with Capt. Almendares being our tour guide and taking care of our itinerary, our first stop is the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag. This place brings back childhood memories. When I was young and my sister was born, our family went to this church for weeks, for a personal prayer and wish that we want to come true. Some weeks I go with them and other weeks, my parents will just bring me to my grandparent's house so they can look after me while they travel to Manaoag. Honestly, I became emotional when I entered this place. Thankful, happy and blessed, those are the feelings that I have when I was inside the church. We lighted some candles and offered some prayers, I took some pictures as well of the place coz I don't know when i'll be able to go back. But it really feels good to be able to visit this place. I also bought this, as a rem...

Cainta Christmas House

Image
November 20, 2017, this famous house inside Filinvest Subdivision along Marcos Highway opened its gates to the public for viewing. The entrance is free and it's now one of the visited attractions every Christmas season since they started I believe 2 or 3 years ago (or maybe before they became popular to the public). Our first visit to this place from what I remember was 2 years ago. Before, anyone can enter the village and go to this place no reservations needed. However it was too crowded that you won't be able to take good pictures. Now they have a process in place especially for those who plan on bringing their vehicles and you need to make a reservation before going to the place. They accept walk-ins (without vehicles) but I believe they limit the visitors to 100 pax per day Here are the steps: ➡️ Text or call this number for reservation or inquiries: 09156077016. Make sure that you contact them atleast 2 days before your plan date of visit. ➡️ They'll need y...

Kidzania

Image
Last September, Kidzania Manila had their Kidzoom Mall tour in Robinsons Metro East. My cousin saw the event and they were offering discounted Kidzania passes - kid and adult bundle for only 1100 (that's already the weekend rate of 1 kid!). She was able to convince me to purchase passes for the kids. By the way for regular ticket prices you can go to their webisite or searcj them on facebook for more information and promo updates - manila.kidzania.com So I called Kidzania to schedule our playday (we originally planned for September 17th but Yuna got sick, so I rescheduled on October 1st). October 1st We arrived early expecting a lot of guests since it's a Sunday. When Kidzania opened, there were separate lines for walk ins and for those who already have passes. We waited a bit inside until 10am when they allowed everyone to enter (waiting area is a bit small with few seats so some of the guests were either standing or just sitting on the floor. The kids fell in line fi...

BER Months

Image
It's the most wonderful time of the year! 🎄🎉 Oh yes I love the Christmas season, and whenever BER months start I feel this excitement, happiness all over the place. Though I know work will start to be tougher these months but yeah still just thinking about everything and anything that gives me good vibes. Speaking of good vibes, this actually started when I was a kid (maybe) but my Nanay starts to setup our Christmas tree starting September 1st. Yeah too early for the tree to be up, but never fails to give us this happy feeling knowing that the holidays is just around the corner. Time flies... and nowadays so fast! as in!! Just like my Nanay, here I am setting up my house for some Christmas treat. Though I didn't start 1st day of the month, still earlier than Halloween LOL And since I'm a lazy lady and wiping a few dust here and there is ok for me... presenting my Christmas decoration!!! So I bought these online on discounted price! You can search them on Google or ...

Moana Themed Party

Image
I love parties and one thing that I enjoy even though I know it's difficult and time consuming is to conceptualize, prepare and style for my children's birthday (I know my styling's sooo simple and ordinary as compared to other DIY moms out there who magically turns a party into a glamorous one as if it's not DIY at all - frustration lol) So for Jennela's 5th birthday we decided to have a Moana themed party. I just bought some green japanese paper, printed out pictures of Moana, flowers, downloaded Moana font and voila! It was definifely windy that day! What I love most is the cake I ordered. My sister's friend creates custom made cakes and definitely affordable! The cake costs P1,000 and with the topper I just added P300 (thanks to Pinterest for the cake inspiration). Free delivery to our house since she's my sister's friend. For more inquiries you can visit their Facebook page, just search for Goodies and bounties For sure I'll contact t...

Emoji Party

Image
Yuna wants to have a simple celebration for her 10th birthday. Since she'll be coming straight from school, we ordered food for merienda and of course for the theme.. Emoji it is! (thanks to my officemates who recently had an emoji birthday celebration for their boss, who happens to be my friend so long story short - recycled diy decorations hahaha) I added my baby's name and some colorful banderitas for the decorations, thanks to my dark brown door lol. For the food! Here's the list of my affordable menu: Dolora's Hauz of Pancit Malabon - I bought 2 bilaos of pancit malabon worth P700+ each Amber Golden Chain of Restaurant - for the barbeque I think I ordered 45 pieces (price on their website) Pizza Hut - for 6 boxes of family sized pizza worth P159 (make the most out of the promo lol) Contis Bakeshop - for the cake bought a day before Everyone was so full and we all enjoyed the food. Thanks to my relatives who celebrated with us! Til next event 😊😊
