Manaoag, Pangasinan 2018
Holy Week 2018, we've been planning for this trip for months. We decided to spend Holy Week in Pangasinan, with Capt. Almendares being our tour guide and taking care of our itinerary, our first stop is the Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag. This place brings back childhood memories. When I was young and my sister was born, our family went to this church for weeks, for a personal prayer and wish that we want to come true. Some weeks I go with them and other weeks, my parents will just bring me to my grandparent's house so they can look after me while they travel to Manaoag. Honestly, I became emotional when I entered this place. Thankful, happy and blessed, those are the feelings that I have when I was inside the church. We lighted some candles and offered some prayers, I took some pictures as well of the place coz I don't know when i'll be able to go back. But it really feels good to be able to visit this place.
