Nasugbu, Batangas 2017 - Bernabeach Resort
April 2017, it was during holy week when my Nanay and I were thingking of going out of town for Easter Sunday. We were looking for a beach resort with swimming pool for the kids. Most of the resorts that I can think of were already fully booked. Until I saw a post from my former Manager who went to Bernabeach Resort and also remembered that some of my friends already went there several times. So why not give it a try?
I was able to reserve a cottage for our daytour trip (it costs around 1000 pesos). We brought our own food (with minimal corkage fee).
We started our trip early and also arrived to the place early. Parking space was limited we parked just outside the resort and we needed to wait for the other guests to check out.
As expected just like what I was informed, the sand is black and the tide was actually strong that time. Our cottage was a bit small for us but we settled for it since not all of us will be there all at the same time. A bit disappointed at the beach area since you'll see a few garbage on the sand. If they can only clean it up, good thing you won't see those in the photos I took (talk about angles! lol).
We took a quick dip in the beach then went to the pool area. They have several pools but also need a little cleaning (or maybe it was because of the peak season). The place is just OK for me, you can even ride a horse for just 50 pesos.
If I'm going to rate the place I'll give it a 2 out of 5. The showers in the wash room doesn't have much water. We had a hard time with that, not sure though with the rooms. Also like what I mentioned, the beach area's not that clean. Will I go back? maybe on a different resort in Nasugbu 😊.
